The SM100 uses an optimized radial lift path to provide vertical lift performance with a hinge pin height of 85.7 in., allowing it to dump into high-sided trucks and reach into truck beds

Wacker Neuson has entered the utility track loader space with its SM100 that has a 1,000-lb rated operating capacity at 35% with a tipping load of 2,857 lbs.

Designed for landscaping, light site work, grading, material handling and more, the SM100 has standard 9-in. wide tracks for low ground pressure, reducing turf disturbance and repair work. With an overall machine width of 35.5 in., then SM100 fits through standard doorways and gates.

“The Wacker Neuson team designed and engineered the SM100 from the ground up,” said Adam Devins, product manager for loaders, Wacker Neuson, of the machine which is built at the company’s factory in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. “This new line was a natural extension to our compact construction equipment portfolio, and we are excited about showing the power and versatility of the SM100 to the market. Through our voice-of-customer research, we have designed a low-maintenance, high productivity machine that will provide long-term reliability.”

Powered by a 24.7-hp Yanmar turbo-charged diesel engine, the SM100 uses an optimized radial lift path to provide vertical lift performance with a hinge pin height of 85.7 in., allowing it to dump into high-sided trucks and reach into truck beds.

The undercarriage features triple-flanged rollers to reduce wear and de-tracking, maintenance and total cost of ownership.

The SM100’s design offers the ability to step up and go, while the large, spring-suspended operator platform with ergonomic padding provides comfort and stability for the driver. An operator presence system prevents accidental movement of the lift arm and travel functions when the operator steps off the platform.

The overall design with sloped hood offers enhanced visibility to the work, and fine-tuned, forward-angled joysticks position the operator’s hands in a neutral position, reducing fatigue. Front-mounted coolers mean no hot or dirty air is blown across the operator’s legs.

Designed for maximum versatility, the machine weighs 3,300 lbs, making it easy to transport, while its common industry attachment interface expands the use of compatible attachments for multiple applications.
