Bobcat adds two new compact wheel loaders

Bobcat’s new L85 wheel loader handles materials easily thanks to improved maneuverability and its electric-hydrostatic transmission

Bobcat has introduced two new compact wheel loader models, the L65 and L85, which grade highly in material handling, maneuverability and versatility, the manufacturer said.

The 55-horsepower L65 wheel loader has an operating weight of 9,944 lbs, and the 68-horsepower L85 model’s operating weight is 11,165 lbs.

The machines’ cabs, which come standard with a canopy (although pressurized cabs are optional), offer comforts such as intuative controls, integrated display and a high seat that imrpoves operator visibility.

The cab display also includes Machine IQ wireless communications, which maximize jobsite efficiency, machine uptime and machine health and security.

The two new models boast Bobcat’s electric-hydrostatic transmission, which allow operators to easily change direction, accelerate efficiently and control speed to “get more work done in less time,” according to the manufacturer.

The wheel loaders have standard bucket capacities of up to 1 cubic yard, and both come with a Bobcat Tier 4 turbo-charged engine.
