Sullair of Houston, a compressed air dealer, is now part of HOLT CAT

HOLT CAT, Caterpillar’s equipment dealer for 118 Texas counties, acquired Sullair of Houston, which distributes commercial air compressors.

Sullair of Houston’s dealer territory overlaps with many counties that HOLT CAT presently services.

“We are excited to welcome the Sullair of Houston team to HOLT,” Peter J. Holt, CEO of HOLT CAT, said.

According to a HOLT CAT release, Sullair of Houston will become a wholly owned subsidiary, and General Manager Brad Bonnecaze will report to Holt.

Bonnecaze said that Sullair of Houston employees will continue in their current roles to maintain the company’s reputation and its customer relationships in the industry.

Holt also said that acquiring Sullair of Houston will allow his company to expand its list of products and services, and the company said in its release that stationary air compressors are used extensively in manufacturing, material handling, petrochemical, food service and construction applications.

Portable compressors are also key products for rental fleets, including Texas First Rentals and HOLT CAT’s Power Systems Rentals.
