JLG releases all-electric scissor lift

Jobsites now have another zero-emissions option when considering scissor lifts with JLG introducing the all-electric DaVinci AE1932.
The 19-foot scissor lift reduces energy consumption by up to 70% with its single lithium-ion battery and was built purposely to meet stringent environmental regulations, according to JLG.
To cut down on jobsite leaks, JLG’s new scissor lift has zero hydraulics.
“The DaVinci AE1932 scissor lift represents the next generation of electrification,” said Shashank Bhatia, senior director of engineering for MEWPs at JLG. “While there is no shortage of battery-powered or electric scissor lifts on the market today, these other models continue to include hydraulic cylinders for actuation, which require hydraulic oil for operation, leaving the possibility open for messy leaks on sensitive job sites.”
The design includes a control system that connects and communicates directly with each system in the all-electric machine, and the scissor lift can transmit data via Bluetooth and cellular networks to operators and technicians on the DaVinciGo app, which provides real-time machine health and diagnostics information.
The DaVinci, which weighs 3,450 lbs, can travel 4 mph, which JLG said is two times faster than a traditional scissor lift, and has a platform capacity of 606 lbs.
