Kubota launches troubleshooting App

Kubota has developed a smartphone App to diagnose faults in its compact tracked loaders.
Kubota Diagnostics, which was launched in the USA in December before being rolled out globally, aims to streamline fault diagnosis and reduce downtime.

The manufacturer said it would also improve after-sales service by efficiently collecting data about the nature of faults.
The tablet/smartphone App is designed for use by service technicians, providing a diagnostic process for pinpointing failures based on error codes displayed on the driver’s control panel, and on actual symptoms. The app uses 3D models and AR (augmented reality) to help with fault diagnosis.

The App is to be made available for free download from both the Apple App story and Google’s Play store.
