Minnesota-based demolition contractor Veit & Company expands its female-led leadership team with the announcement that Kelly Hansen has been named its vice president of human resources.
The appointment became effective at the new year. In 2021, Veit announced that Kelly Veit would succeed Vaughn Veit as chief executive officer (CEO) of the specialty contracting and waste management firm. Veit is the first female CEO at the company.
Based in Rogers, Minnesota, Veit employs more than 700 people and manages commercial, municipal and industrial construction projects across the Midwest and has been serving clients for more than 90 years.
In her new role at VP of human resources, Hansen will partner with the company’s leadership team to develop and implement strategies including employee development, workforce management, talent planning and performance management.
“We are pleased to welcome Kelly to the Veit team,” said Veit President Tim Reimann. “Her passion for people development, organizational performance and culture make her a perfect fit as we grow the Veit enterprise.”
He noted, “Kelly brings over 20 years of proven leadership helping construction and manufacturing companies grow and reach high levels of employee engagement.”
Before joining Veit, Kelly was part of the leadership team at Park Industries, a manufacturing company also based in Minnesota.
