VIDEO: Veit & Co. highlights a year of demolition

By Jenny LescohierNovember 02, 2021

Demolition - although very serious business - can be a guilty pleasure for those on the outside looking in. Watching buildings and structures come down is a sight to behold and often a spectacle that’s hard to turn away from.

To that point, Minnesota-based Veit & Company created this video of its demolition project highlights from the year of 2020. It includes the 969-ft long X Bridge demolition in North Dakota, which was shortlisted in the Civils category of the World Demolition Awards for this year.

Ahead of the awards program, which was held in Chicago on Oct. 21, the World Demolition Summit took place, including a presentation by Veit’s newly appointed CEO, Kelly Veit.
