Western Global’s sales team now covers nine southeastern states

U.S. fluid storage company Western Global has made two internal appointments to form a sales team covering nine southeastern states.

Western Global supplies portable tanks and dispensing equipment for the storage and handling of fuels, lubricants and other fluids.

Michael O’Brien, regional sales manager, and Sydney Talbot, sales support representative, have been appointed to form the new Southeast U.S. regional sales team. They will be responsible for growing sales and servicing existing customers in nine southeastern states from Arkansas to North Carolina, and Tennessee to Florida.

O’Brien has been in the industry for 21 years , spending the last three as a regional sales manager for Western Global, servicing customers in Texas and Louisiana.

“We are excited to start working with our customers in the new territory,” he said. “We saw great success in Texas, and now, with the addition of our new sales rep, Sydney, we’re ready to start growing the Southeast.”

Ken Steury, Western Global Americas Region director of sales, said, “Michael fits our mission. He understands how to develop lasting solutions for clients and will work with Sydney to share that product knowledge with the market and build long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationships.”

Talbot graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science. She joined Western Global in December 2020, having previously worked as a technical recruiter and an independent medical sales representative.

She will be the primary contact for all customer inquiries.
